1. Find out more and make an informed decision
• Pick up an 'Organ Donors Save Lives' brochure from your nearest RTA Motor Registry Office or Medicare Office
• Talk to your Doctor
• Go to www.organdonor.com.au
• Call LifeGift NSW/ACT on 02 9229 4003

2. Talk to your Family
20% of people waiting for a heart, lung or liver transplant will die before receiving a life saving transplant. One Organ Donor can save up to eight people's lives and many more for tissue donation. Talk to your family about being an Organ Donor and your wishes.
3. Sign on to an Organ Donor Register Today
• Contact Medicare on 1800 777 203 or go to Australian Organ Donor Register Registration webpage.
• Contact the RTA to renew your drivers licence details and remember you can choose which organs you wish to donate and you must change your details in writing.
