Welcome to the NSW Patient Safety and Clinical Quality Program website of the NSW Department of Health Quality and Safety Branch. The Program was announced by the Minister for Health in 2004 to provide a framework for significant improvements to clinical quality and patient safety in the NSW public health system. This website aims to keep you informed of a number of important initiatives managed by the Branch. The Open Disclosure Training and Education site provides useful presentation modules on open disclosure which are ideal for group training and as part of orientation sessions for new starters. Each presentation comes with a Facilitator’s Manual.

Included peer-reviewed scientific articles for anyone involved with an infection control or epidemiology program with a hospital or health care facility.
